The trip itself was incredible. The sheer number and variety of animals we saw was amazing, from herds of elephants to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and giraffes. One of the biggest highlights was witnessing the Great Migration of wildebeest. It’s hard to put into words how special it was to see it all in person!
The accommodations were fantastic, with a wonderful mix of lodges and tented camps, and the food was delicious throughout the trip. A special shoutout to our incredible safari guides, Pascale and Goodwin, whose knowledge and expertise made our wildlife encounters even more memorable.
Summer did a wonderful job organizing everything and taking care of the details, allowing us to relax and enjoy the experience. Beyond the wildlife, it was the combination of experiencing a new culture, being immersed in nature, and sharing these unforgettable moments with an amazing group of women that made the trip so special.
Both the Azores and Tanzania have given me memories I’ll carry with me for a long time. I wouldn’t hesitate to travel with Summer and Out Making Memories again, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an adventure filled with incredible experiences and meaningful connections!
This trip for me was a trip of a lifetime. My dream come true!!!! Fantastic company to travel with Out Making Memories. I will definitely travel with this company again. The host, Amy, was great. She was very engaging and helpful. If there was an issue with something she was right on it and had it taken care of. The food was wonderful and the accommodations was nothing like I expected! The trip was amazing. We had great people that I now call friends. Great food and accommodations. The staff at each of the locations were phenomenal. Could not have asked for a better experience.

From start to finish, it was truly an amazing adventure. Seeing so many incredible animals up close was absolutely unforgettable, and every day seemed to bring another “pinch me” moment. The food was wonderful, the scenery was breathtaking, and the accommodations were beyond what I expected. And the tents we stayed in along the way were luxurious, comfortable, and such a unique part of the experience!
Our guides were exceptional. They were so knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to share their knowledge with us. I learned so much about the animals, the environment, and the places we visited, which made the experience even more meaningful.
And then there’s Summer. She is absolutely wonderful! You can tell how much thought, care, and personal attention she puts into every detail. She has a real gift for creating experiences that feel effortless for the traveler while still being incredibly special and well planned. She didn’t just organize a trip—she created an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. If you are considering a trip to Africa, I cannot encourage you enough to consider Out Making Memories as your tour company… trust me, you will not regret it!

Highly recommend if you are thinking about a safari. Everything was beyond my expectations. The accommodations were lovely. The food was excellent. Our guides were superb. We were so lucky to catch part of the migration in addition to all the animals. This was my second trip with Summer. She makes sure everyone is taken care of and she takes care of everything for you. AMAZING TRIP!
We had an amazing trip. We saw it all! The accommodations were fun and everything you needed. The food was good and satisfying along with the wine! I will definitely be booking another trip with Out Making Memories!
I miss Tanzania. My home, feels colorless now. I went on safari to see the animals and each day was better than the one before, but it’s the people I will be going back for. This is the second OMM adventure I have taken and I need a few more days to process the experience. The safari guides were just outstanding, well educated and fountains of knowledge. For me, safari was an overwhelming and joyful experience, OMG we laughed so much! The accommodations were all fantastic, clean sheets, hot water, good food, tastefully appointed lodges, and there was more quality produce and fresh baked goods than we could eat. I continue to be impressed with the other travelers who have shared their time with me. These accomplished and professional women are inspirational. I thought 14 days would be too long and by day ten I wished it was longer. I am exhausted, I am suffering from jet lag, and I have the most satisfied feeling of having experienced something truly extraordinary.
Our trip to Tanzania was amazing! From the moment we landed we were met by our guide who stayed with us through our safari. He was able to take us to the Cultural Center in Arusha and explained so much about the city and the people. Throughout our five night safari, we got to see all the animals, the big five and more. Additionally, we were able to see the wildebeest cross the river for the great migration which was amazing.

Summer set up all our accommodations including three beautiful lodges, each such a unique experience. She had personally stayed at them all which provided us a great deal of confidence as we were going somewhere we had never been. The accommodations, the food and the people at each lodge were outstanding. Summer made all the arrangements and was available for questions when we were in country which was a great support.
I cannot stay enough about what a great trip we had. We would love to go back and if we do, I would definitely work with Summer again.

Our Hotel and Restaurants were all well vented and all provided top accommodations and five star cuisine.
Hotels were clean and comfortable and provided a wide range of experiences from the traditional Riads to top class hotels. These really were above my expectations and truly appreciated.
We were exposed to all types of landscapes and adventures including Marrakesh, the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara Desert, the Atlantic Ocean, Valleys and Irrigation systems. It was so interesting to learn about the people and experience the small towns and the Nomad Villages. I can say that I saw the very best of Morocco and this trip has also opened my mind to the people and landscapes of this part of the world.
Our adventures were so diverse and I truly meant that there was a surprise around every corner. I would have appreciated some prior knowledge of the more physical challenges and feel that the activity level should have been advertised. I wanted to do everything but my personal physical limitations did challenge me so prior knowledge to opt out of the mountain hike would have been appreciated.
Morocco is fabulous and the shopping was so much fun and very fitting for our ladies group. I felt very safe in the city even at night and I also felt that your support and knowledge of where to go and what to see was excellent.
Our Moroccan guide (Ali) was so kind, patient and accommodating. I believe he was a big part of the trip and ensuring that we were safe and that our needs were met. Of course his driving was “professional” and even in those mountains I felt safe and looked after. I thank Ali and his family for welcoming us into his home and for his lovely wife to provide us each with a Henna. This was a unexpected and I am grateful for this experience.

Morocco was the perfect country to visit for an adventure. Accommodations and food were fantastic. Our local driver and guide was so helpful and professional it made me feel confident and comfortable. The activities were mostly fun and interesting. The canyon hike was much more challenging than expected and more details regarding the level of difficulty should be shared ahead of time. Appropriate hiking gear required.
This was the experience of a lifetime that I would highly recommend! Plenty of downtime to do what you wanted, but also with planned activities that were different and fun. You might not be interested in all of them but there was enough variety to pick and choose to make everyone happy. She teams with a fantastic local gentleman, Ali, who drives the vehicles around and assists in any way possible to make the trip enjoyable. There also was variety in the accommodations in all the places we stayed. They may not all be your favorite but you can tell a lot of thought and effort was put into selecting areas and places that were safe and culturally immersive. If you go with an open mind and heart, you will not regret taking this trip and will make new friends in the process…priceless.
What an adventure in Morocco! My friend and I traveled with 8 other women, Summer and the driver of the van, Ali. It was my first time in Morocco, and the trip exceeded all of my expectations.
It was safe, well organized, and filled with a balance of activities and relaxation. We stayed in the best hotels (except one which is not her fault) and had amazing meals with unlimited beverages either at the hotel or nearby restaurants. I am not exaggerating.
Summer also took care of all of the tipping which is not my favorite thing to do. We went from Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains to the Sahara desert, back through Marrakesh to Essouria on the Atlantic Ocean and back to Marrakesh. We did things like hot air ballooning, hiking through the mountain, glamping, rode camels and ATVs in the dessert and did a fair amount of shopping at trustworthy places. I hope to go on another trip with Summer because she is a lot of fun and easy going.
Summer Romeo’s tour of Morocco was amazing: making memories that will last a lifetime. She chose activities that were exciting from riding a camel and quads in the desert and cooking classes with chefs that captured the culture. Highlights also included a Hot Air balloon, Haman, massage and hike in the canyon. She took the worry out of travel to foreign land: she provided all transportation and paid all tips to guides, and hotels and restaurants were superb! Best of all she listened to needs and was able to pivot last minute to make it work for all. Enough cannot be said for our guide Ali who not only shared the history and helped negotiate in the native language, but he also opened his own home and family to us. A pure JOY: 10/10, looking forward to future adventures with this group!
Saw some wonderful, off the path places that would not have been easy for me to replicate on my own. Excellent guides and varied and interesting itineraries. Great hotels and restaurants.
This was a fabulous trip. Everything was top notch. The meals were wonderful, at least 2 of the accommodations were spectacular and better than I could have imagined. Our guide was so lovely and knowledgeable and proud of his heritage and country. He was a true gem. Summer is the best in all manner of speaking when it comes to tour operators. Don’t hesitate to book with this company.
This trip was full of color, energy, and warmth. I ate so well (seriously, the food alone was a highlight), met some phenomenal women who made every moment more fun, and found myself falling in love with the mix of history, beauty, and chaos that makes Morocco what it is.

Days are packed with adventure — camel rides, 4-wheeling, and air balloon rides felt straight out of a dream. And when it was time to slow down, we were treated to the most luxurious spas imaginable — hammams, massages, and total bliss.
What made it even more special was learning about the country’s deep culture and history — from the old medinas to the desert kasbahs, every corner was a sensory awakening.
This trip made me feel alive and brave to say “yes” to adventure, connection, and a little bit of luxury. I’ll be booking with Summer again and again!!

The Azores Women’s Getaway 2026 was fantastic! First of all Summer has repeat travelers which really shows how welcoming and organized her trips are. The relationships she has with the tour guides is solid enough to allow for flexibility to see the sites when the weather was most promising and we were blessed with great views from many of Sao Miguel’s scenic vantage points. All around fun, delicious and beautiful.

What made the trip so special was the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, great food, and wonderful company. We explored crater lakes, soaked in thermal pools, visited picturesque towns, hiked scenic trails, and enjoyed daily jeep excursions that took us to spectacular viewpoints and hidden gems across the islands.
A huge part of the trip’s success was our tour leader, Summer. Her planning was exceptional, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. So much attention to detail throughout the trip. Summer was highly talented in curating this amazing experience. The Chateau Frontenac was a gorgeous hotel and perfectly located. We had unbelievable dining experiences. It was a trip to remember – the experiences, the people, the place. The ladies I traveled with were a delight. From dogsledding to a day at the spa it was a grand adventure! What a special way to travel. Summer being there and being our personal guide really helped me disconnect and relax.
I missed traveling after the loss of my husband. On Facebook I saw a trip to Quebec on Out Making Memories. Women only, small group. I’m so happy I booked it. Summer planned the hotel, day trips and nights far exceeded my expectations. Sleigh ride, dog sledding, 5 star restaurants to name a few. The trip was a magical experience and I can’t wait to plan my next trip.
This trip was perfectly curated and went seamlessly in all aspects. The Hotel was fantastic. The food and service was wonderful.
Perfect location to funicular to take you up and down to eat and shop. Dogsledding was my favorite of the trip, but the spa day and horse and carriage ride were fabulous. We even took the toboggan ride at the end of the boardwalk. and ate at an Ice House hotel and restaurant!! All of the tipping etc was included which was so helpful not having to worry and carry money with you all the time. Summer took care of everything and she was spot on with her communication and organization, as well as being a delightful travel guide. I would highly recommend you taking this trip. It truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Oh I forgot the marvelous 3 dining room Michelin rated restaurant tasting….unforgettable. I would fly back just to eat there. glamping in the hamptons
A women’s glamping weekend close to home, with an evening out in Sag Harbor.
What can I say? It is one of the best weekends I’ve had in my recent adult life. Summer looked after us and made sure everything we needed was available to us. Planned everything meticulously and we had such fun!!! Summer took a group of women who, for the most part did not know each other, and became friends! What beautiful memories we made! The accommodations were perfect! Thank you Summer for a weekend that will remain with me for a long time.
It was a fabulous weekend! The venue was very nice! Clean and friendly staff and the food at the restaurant onsite was very good! I loved the wood fired pizzas! The evening out in Sag Harbor was perfect – a nice blend between spending some time in nature but also seeing the town. Summer was an amazing hostess! I always felt that I had plenty to eat and drink at all the meals and the food and drinks provided were perfect! I feel that there were enough organized activities to thoroughly enjoy the glamping experience, but also enough time to rest and relax. Summer is a super friendly and welcoming person and made me feel very comfortable right away. We were very lucky to have such a wonderful group of ladies on this trip too! Everyone was super nice and we all got along well. No complaints! I would absolutely recommend this trip. Thank you!!
