Sample Detailed Itinerary, 8 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Tonga

Touch down in the breathtaking islands of Vava’u, where your Tongan adventure begins. After clearing customs and immigration, our friendly Mounu Island team will be waiting to greet you and assist with a seamless transfer to the marina. From there, you’ll board a private boat for a scenic 25-minute ride across turquoise waters to your island retreat. A warm welcome and a brief orientation await your arrival. The rest of the afternoon is yours to unwind, settle into your beachfront bungalow, and take in the beauty of Mounu — your home for the week ahead.

Day 2 - 6: Swim With Whales

While daily schedules may vary based on arrival days and ocean conditions, Sundays are always reserved for rest, reflection, and soaking up the untouched beauty of this sacred island sanctuary.

Day 7: Day of Rest

Sundays are a day of rest in Tonga. Spend the day unwinding on the island — snorkel off the beach, read a book in a hammock, or join an optional boat ride to town if you’d like to attend church or explore (please note, most shops are closed).

Day 8: Departures

Enjoy breakfast before your return journey to Vava’u Airport. A short 25-minute boat ride and transfer will bring you to the airport with plenty of time to check in. As you depart, it’s never goodbye, just a warm “see you later.”

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and while we would love to offer free cancellation, due to the limited availability of spaces and the special group rates secured for this event, we are only able to offer a refund if we can fill your spot or if you can find a replacement to take your spot.

If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to fill your space from our waitlist. Should we successfully find a replacement for your booking, a full refund will be issued. However, if we are unable to fill your spot, no refund will be provided.
