Itinerary, 8 nights & 9 days
Day 1: Arrive in Venice transfer to Lago di Braies
We’ll kick off our adventure by arriving in Venice, ideally in the morning. From there, we’ll journey (3 hour drive) to the breathtaking Lago di Braies, where we’ll spend our first night in a charming lakeside hotel. This pristine alpine gem, often called the most beautiful lake in the Dolomites, sets the tone for the incredible days ahead. You’ll have the opportunity to rent a wooden boat and paddle across its crystal-clear waters, either in the peaceful glow of the evening or the fresh stillness of morning. Lago di Braies is the perfect starting point for our trek along the legendary Alta Via 1.
Please arrive in the morning to ensure we can hit the road by 2PM. Alternatively fly in the day prior and spend one night in Venice.
Day 1 Includes: Airport Transfers, Dinner, Hotel Accommodations.
Day 2 – Day 8 Full Alta Via 1 Trek
Today marks the true beginning of our journey along the iconic Alta Via 1, a hut-to-hut adventure through the stunning Dolomites. Each day, you can expect to hike for an average of 6-9 hours, the full trek is 75 miles, you will be carrying your own pack 30 lbs—there are no porters on this trek. While the hike is not technical, it’s rated as moderate, so a good level of fitness is essential. This trip is best suited for those with some hiking experience, as it’s not ideal for beginners.
The trail is dotted with charming Rifugios, perfect for breaking up the day with a rest or a delicious bite to eat. The combination of breathtaking landscapes, welcoming refuges, and the camaraderie of the group makes this an unforgettable alpine adventure.
Day 2-8 Includes: Breakfast, Dinner, Hut Accommodations
Day 9 La Pissa to Venice
The journey ends at the La Pissa bus stop, marking the official finish of the Alta Via 1. From here, we’ll have transportation arranged back to Venice Airport, giving you the option to catch an evening flight home or spend one last night soaking up the charm of Venice. It’s the perfect way to conclude this unforgettable adventure!
Day 9 Includes: Breakfast, transportation back to Venice Airport.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and while we would love to offer free cancellation, due to the limited availability of spaces and the special group rates secured for this event, we are only able to offer a refund if we can fill your spot or if you can find a replacement to take your spot.
If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to fill your space from our waitlist. Should we successfully find a replacement for your booking, a full refund will be issued. However, if we are unable to fill your spot, no refund will be provided.
