Join us for a magical women’s winter escape to enchanting Québec City during its most festive season of the year. Imagine wandering through the twinkling lights of the Christmas markets, browsing cozy wooden stalls filled with handmade gifts, warming your hands around a cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate as soft snow falls over the cobblestone streets of Old Québec. The entire city feels like stepping inside a real life snow globe during the holidays.

This festive getaway blends the charm of European style Christmas markets with unforgettable winter experiences. We will explore the spectacular ice sculptures at Hôtel de Glace, enjoy cozy winter traditions like dog sledding or a horse drawn sleigh ride through the forest, and soak in the magical atmosphere of the holiday season throughout the city.

This is a luxury experience from start to finish. We will be staying in 5 star accommodations at the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac and enjoying exceptional dining across the city, including celebrated restaurants that highlight the region’s incredible culinary scene. Wine pairings are available with dinners but are not included in the trip package.

Please note due to the December weather being unpredictable, this itinerary is subject to change, if Quebec gets an early snow we will add in Dog Sledding, and if the weather cooperates we will be able to do the iconic 1884 Toboggan. These activities are NOT guaranteed. – if you want these activities, consider joining the February Trip.

We are splurging and dining at some of the most fabulous restaurants Quebec City has to offer. We’ve included just about everything in this women’s trip package so you can relax and enjoy your adventure without worrying about the details. Our goal is to give you the best experience possible, with everything you need laid out upfront, so you can focus on making unforgettable memories.

Itinerary, 4 nights & 5 days

Day 1 | Arrival Day – Welcome to a Winter Fairytale

Arrive in Québec City

Arrivals throughout the day into Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport. Airport transfers are not included, but are very simple via a taxi from he airport.

Upon arriving in Québec City, you’ll check into the iconic Château Frontenac, your luxurious base for the trip. We’ll have a welcome gathering and enjoy a cocktail with a view of the river. Begin your adventure with a walk along the Dufferin Terrace, where panoramic views of the St. Lawrence River and the frozen winter landscape create a magical atmosphere.

Day 2 | Walking Tour & Christmas Markets

After breakfast, we begin the day with a guided walking tour through historic Old Québec, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with centuries of stories.

In the afternoon we will head out for our first festive evening exploring the charming German Christmas Market in Old Québec, where twinkling lights illuminate the historic streets. Browse handcrafted gifts, ornaments, and local artisan goods while enjoying mulled wine, maple treats, and warm pastries.

Day 3 | Dog Sledding & Christmas Magic

Start your day with a lovely morning horse drawn carriage ride through the cobblestone streets. We’ll have lunch at a lovely spot in town and try some local dishes. In the afternoon wander the Charming Christmas markets, have mulled wine and browse the wooden booths for Holiday treasurers.

Not Included: Alcoholic beverages at dinner

Please note if the weather cooperates, we will add in Dog Sledding, but this activity is NOT guaranteed. Additionally the 1884 Toboggan may or may not be open, it all depends if it gets cold early – if you 100% want those activities, consider joining us in February.

Day 4 | Nordic Spa Wind Down

Today is dedicated to relaxation at the beautiful Strøm Spa Nordique. Set along the river, this tranquil Nordic spa experience includes, outdoor hot pools with snowy winter views, Scandinavian sauna and steam rooms, Cold plunge pools,Relaxation lounges and fireside spaces. Guests can follow the traditional hot–cold–rest cycle, leaving you completely rejuvenated.

All travelers will enjoy a 60 minute massage at the Nordic Spa.

We won’t rush the spa day, lunch will be on site and we’ll return to the Fairmont around 3PM. Time to freshen up, before we head out to explore Old Quebec City on our way to a lavish dinner at a Michelin Star Restaurant.

Getting to Quebec City, Canada

By Air: Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB): This is the main airport serving Québec City. It receives flights from major Canadian cities like Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, as well as some international destinations, particularly from the U.S. (e.g., New York, Chicago).

By Car : For most of the route, you’ll be driving on well-maintained interstate highways and major roads. You’ll likely take I-95 North, I-91 North, or I-87 North, depending on your chosen route. These highways are wide and offer services along the way, such as rest stops and gas stations.

Rural Roads in Vermont and Québec: Once you get closer to the border and into rural Québec, the roads can be more remote, but still well-paved and safe to drive on. Pay attention to the changing speed limits, especially when crossing into Canada.

Crossing the U.S.-Canada Border: You’ll pass through a border crossing at places like Highgate Springs, Vermont. Border crossings are typically smooth, but be prepared for potential delays, especially during holidays or peak travel times. Make sure to have your passport ready for customs.

We understand that plans can change, and while we would love to offer free cancellation, due to the limited availability of spaces and the special group rates secured for this event, we are only able to offer a refund if we can fill your spot or if you can find a replacement to take your spot.

If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to fill your space from our waitlist. Should we successfully find a replacement for your booking, a full refund will be issued. However, if we are unable to fill your spot, no refund will be provided.
