In the afternoon, we’ll head to the German Christmas Market of Québec to browse the twinkling wooden chalets for handmade gifts and ornaments, mulled wine in hand. The late afternoon is yours to rest at the Château, explore the festive lanes of Quartier Petit Champlain, or ride the historic Au 1884 Toboggan Slide on Terrasse Dufferin for a classic Québec winter thrill with views over the St. Lawrence. We’ll end the day with a tasting menu dinner at Le Saint-Amour, one of the city’s most celebrated restaurants.

The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace: shop the boutiques along Rue Saint-Jean and Rue Saint-Louis, duck into a cozy café for a maple latte, or head back to the German Christmas Market for one more cup of mulled wine and any gifts you couldn’t stop thinking about. In the evening, we’ll gather for a cozy group dinner to toast another magical day in Québec.
Included: Breakfast, Transfers, Dinner, Accommodations
Not Included: Lunch (not necessary today!), Alcoholic beverages
Day 4: Full Day of Nordic Bliss at Strom Spa
We’ll head to the spa right when it opens to enjoy a full spa day at Strøm Spa Nordique, set along the shores of the St. Lawrence River. Here, you can indulge in outdoor thermal baths, cold plunges, and saunas while soaking in the peaceful winter scenery. Each guest will enjoy a 60-minute massage, the perfect way to unwind after days of exploring the Christmas markets.
Lunch will be at the spa and includes a lovely glass of wine. Spend the afternoon however your body tells you, whether that’s one more round in the thermal baths or curling up by the fire in the relaxation lounge. We’ll head back to the Château in the late afternoon to get ready for our farewell dinner, toasting the season and the memories we’ve made together in Québec. Should you have an early flight, head off to bed. If not, let’s grab a goodbye cocktail.

Getting to Quebec City, Canada
By Air: Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB): This is the main airport serving Québec City. It receives flights from major Canadian cities like Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, as well as some international destinations, particularly from the U.S. (e.g., New York, Chicago).
By Car : For most of the route, you’ll be driving on well-maintained interstate highways and major roads. You’ll likely take I-95 North, I-91 North, or I-87 North, depending on your chosen route. These highways are wide and offer services along the way, such as rest stops and gas stations.
Rural Roads in Vermont and Québec: Once you get closer to the border and into rural Québec, the roads can be more remote, but still well-paved and safe to drive on. Pay attention to the changing speed limits, especially when crossing into Canada.
Crossing the U.S.-Canada Border: You’ll pass through a border crossing at places like Highgate Springs, Vermont. Border crossings are typically smooth, but be prepared for potential delays, especially during holidays or peak travel times. Make sure to have your passport ready for customs.

She’s not kidding when she says luxury. Everything was top tier, but the real genius of the trip is that it is filled with memorable activities yet not overly crammed or tight for time! The perfect getaway.
